And if you’re traveling with kids, the vibe skews more toward quiet adult luxury than family chaos, which is great for some people and less ideal for others.

The price, obviously, remains the barrier. Even with points and smart timing, this is a splurge. Going in clear-eyed about that makes the experience better — you appreciate it more when you’ve worked for it.

Here’s my honest answer: yes, but only if you approach it the right way. If you’re paying rack rate on a whim without points or a plan, there are probably better ways to spend that money.
